OUR CULTURE
Diversity of Cultures and Languages
As the fintech and financial advisory industry grows globally at an unprecedented scale, many challenges exist, including the complex cultural diversity problem. Most global financial frontline systems are created in English. However, according to Statistica, in 2022, about 1.5B of the world's population (estimated 8B) will speak English as a first or second language. This means that much of the world population would need to be able to access systems and services in their native language.
KoiZai Aims to Respect Cultural Diversity and Language
With our Asian DNA, we believe in the richness and diversity of cultures and languages. The KoiZai team comprises people with diverse cultural backgrounds from Australia, Indonesia, Nepal, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia and Czechoslovakia. We see that language is a critical component that makes different cultures rich. To our team, to respect and understand cultural diversity, we need to respect the preferred language of the users. With this mindset, we aim to allow users access to the KoiZai system in native languages to create better communication, exceptional financial knowledge and understanding.

We also focus on be-spoking the platform to meet local cultural needs where appropriate.

For example, in Muslim communities and countries, we try to ensure the language and meaning used is Halal. In time we would work closely with Islamic institutions to ensure that Muslim users have access to Takaful financial products and services.
Case Study
In Asia and Australasia, financial advisers may work with multicultural clients using English-based systems and documentation. However, the clients may speak another language as their first language, and they may not understand the industry and local words used.
If the clients are fortunate, their adviser may be able to speak their native language, or they may need to have their children or friends help translate the information. So the clients will need to rely on verbal understanding unless the documentation is in dual language.

However, how great would it be if there was a system where:

Advisers can use a dual-languaged system where they can work with clients in their first language.
The clients can use their personal access to the KoiZai system, which they can convert into their preferred language to understand better what has been presented.
The client's children can also work with their parents where English is now their first language, and they may not be proficient in their cultural language, but they can flip the systems between languages when helping their parents.
Managers, supervisors and Compliance Managers can work with the advisers and clients where they speak English only but can flip the system between languages and see what the client sees.
The KoiZai Multi-language Supported
KoiZai has built its own unique language data pack that allows users to choose between several languages. We would work closely with our regional users to ensure that we can support their preferred language preferences that will benefit their clients and users. We currently support the following language, and in time we will add more languages to the system.
English
Traditional Chinese
Simplified Chinese
Bahasa Malay
Vietnamese
